So I finally got off my butt to get a hideous photo of myself for my passport renewal of which I had to pay handsomely for a rapid renewal, and… my mug was too big.
So I had to pay for an AusPost mugshot. Like, truly, a mugshot. The only thing missing was an orange jumpsuit.
If I didn’t like photos before, now I truly detest them. 😂
I did normal and got mine in business 5 days. The lady doing the mugshot (mines not great either heh) / renewal for me was very naughty in trying to upsell the express imo.
Yeah, I didn’t know I could pick it up on Wednesday until after I paid, meaning I could have brought a resized photo. Unfortunately, I had to be sure I’d get a renewal due to flying out in a fortnight.

Rapid renewal is a fraud.
