    Moth rambles

It’s a shame pest control often uses chemicals that are dodgy for cats. I had my place sprayed once years ago in desperation and it’s meant to be safe once dry but I was feeling pretty dizzy going back in after it was done. I wouldn’t want my cat walking on it and licking her paws, and the spray takes hours to dry.

I’m washing drying and bagging my clothes and just keeping out the most frequently worn easily washed stuff in bags/tubs. Spritzing Frontline spray under furniture, inside the hanging fabric shoe shelves I use as a linen press, and will do the inside of my crappy fabric/cloth drawers. Might use those to store non-cloth things. My yarns and fabric can stay in sealed space bags indefinitely until anything is dead.

I may have to scrub out my pantry with vinegar and keep any kind of food in the fridge so the moths can’t feast. (I mostly do but I’m talking anything that’s feasibly edible - I’m already keeping the cocoa and teabags in there and may add more.)

The decluttering and routine vacuuming is going to be the real killer though. The physical labour and focus required is really going to drag this shit out unless I get help. If it ever gets resolved. Thought they were gone but saw one fly past. I don’t even know how the little bastards got in.

Sorry this isn’t about me. Just commiserating.
