The wildlife water dried up and blew down while I was asleep. It’s the light material and the flat wide aerodynamic shape. The raised placement also lets gusts of wind get under to pick it up. I put it in that spot for a reason and chose a shallow dish so animals/insects don’t drown but it’s a bit inconvenient.

I put it back, peeled the huge block of ice out of the silicone bowl/jelly mould to weigh it down and filled it the rest of the way with water from the tap. The ice should keep the platter held down for a while and keep everything cool. It can also slowly refill the water as it melts.
