I’ve done a fair bit of it and there are pros and cons. I can do it and still like it, but I’d prefer to share experiences with someone. I’m not going to not travel until I have someone to travel with though.
The only cons I think of is that it’s somewhat more expensive as accommodation and travel costs aren’t split, and if something happens to you it’s helpful to have someone there to call the authorities the embassy or the hospital etc.
