So my plan was to give the electric piano/keyboard whatever you call it which has been collecting dust in my apartment to my niece for her birthday. I just dusted it off and plugged it in to make sure it’s all good but it’s a serious bit of kit which I bought for myself for like $500 back in like 2018 I think. It might be a bit too much equipment for a 4 year old. Now I’m thinking I should just go and buy her a more kid-appropriate one like this one and hold on to this one for now. If I still have it when she’s a bit older maybe she can have it then.

I think the smaller one might be the right call for a four year old. We started on real piano sizes at six, and even then the tiny fingers couldn’t really reach the keys.

Thanks for the reply, I went out and bought the little one this afternoon and I hadn’t even considered her tiny fingers!
