Tonight, it’s more Japanese - leftover miso soup, steamed broccoli with goma-ae and I made an attempt at tamagoyaki for the first time. It looks like a giant yellow turd but… The inside is perfectly textured and it tastes not bad at all if I say so myself! I still think it’s not exactly easy to do, you have to get everything in place and work quickly between dabbing with oil, pouring, lifting and rolling, but it doesn’t feel as impossible as it did…
