    The pacing and character building are all wrong for something written for the screen: it’s like the writers are more concerned with ticking off the things that happen in the book, rather than allowing things to develop.

    There’s too much “telling” of the world, rather than building, and it’s also like they’ve dropped you into the middle of these fully formed relationships between characters and expect you to empathise/understand.

    So, perhaps if you know the world, characters and story it would be nice to see with some colour and movement.
