minus-squaretone212_linkfedilinkarrow-up7·14 days agoI used my rice cooker to make coconut rice for the first time and I’m sitting here wondering why I’ve never done this before.
minus-squareSituationCakelinkfedilinkarrow-up3·14 days agoIs it a full replacement of water with coconut milk or a blend?
minus-squaretone212_linkfedilinkarrow-up5·edit-214 days agoFull replacement, but I used light coconut milk. Don’t think it would have worked full with regular. It’s delicious.
minus-squareDuenanlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·14 days agoI might have to try that sometime with my rice cooker though recently I got the water ratio wrong. Do you use the same amount of coconut milk as you would water?
minus-squaretone212_linkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-214 days agoYeah the same amount of liquid, I had enough to fill the amount I was cooking. Light is watered down already, for regular I’d use maybe 1/3 water.
