    It’s bullshit AND shenanigans. If the vote was legitimate, we likely would’ve made it to the Grand Final. Turns out we were rank 11 in our semi – just outside the qualification rank – and guess who dominated it. (Full results are on the ESC website). ESC has avoided a major disaster though. If the winner was different today the competition next year could have been unrecognisable in terms of participating countries and viewership.

      Yeah Mrs b was surprised Sweden and Finland didn’t do better. Was trying to explain that’s what happens when someone sucks up all the votes.

      A lot of acts deserved better this year.

      Be interested to see if the EBU do something, but I dunno what can actually be done short of kicking them out. And given they didn’t do that last year when they were a lot more justified, and that they resigned their major Jewish sponsor it’s a rock and a hard place of their own shitty decisions coming back to bite them.
