    Er, please explain? Like tape the hems and sew through it?

      Pretty much. Basically put a strip of masking tape along the cut edges, stitch to the seam allowance then rip off the tape from each side of the seam line. Holds the fabric flat and the feed dogs grip very well on it. Then it unzips beautifully. Use painters tape or masking tape as they leave no residue. Tape can be marked with biro for matching pieces together before seaming. Doesn’t work too well for rolled hems though. But for doing sheer curtains or other flat seaming it’s a game changer.

          Also stabilises the edge of knit fabrics - especially the really thin ones.
