Wong was visibly shaken by the news that Yang Hengjun had been given a death sentence. But how can she condemn China while forging closer ties with Beijing?

Pro-democracy writer Yang Hengjun has been detained in China since January 2019.

    He also wrote some spy novels and and blogged about doing politics differently in China. I didn’t look too much into it.
