NSW Police say forensic analysis finds no evidence the phrase "gas the Jews" was chanted in videos circulating online from a pro-Palestinian rally in October, despite people providing statements the phrase was used.
More honest than everything else reported this week on the issue.

And yet the same guy says:
“I did, at the time, point out there were anti-Semitic phrases that I heard”
I don’t think he understands the phrase “that could not be further from the truth.”
While it is commendable that these organisers toned down subsequent rallies, I don’t recall even a few bad apples amongst the Sydney Jewish community ever publicly celebrating the slaughter of Palestinians.
Yes. Although “From the River to the Sea” I would argue is anti-Semitic and they sure are using that, in fact the Left wing have also taken this on.
The same day of the Oct 7 Massacre I went to a music gig at a venue in Camperdown where the host expressed solidarity with Palestine but didn’t utter a word of sorrow or regret for the slaughter by Hamas.
a Hamas official in Beirut, Osama Hamdan, also reiterated that any deal short of a permanent ceasefire was likely to be rejected.
Dunno if a permanent one is a good idea. Would be good to eliminate Hamas but I don’t even know if that is realistic. Would be even better to eliminate Bibi.
I do know that The Greens (whom I have always supported until this incident) walked out when Labor refused to sign the initial call for a cease-fire. Labor later explained that the document didn’t even mention October 7 so I feel they were right to not sign that time.
Presumably the document was amended soon after because Labor did then sign it about a week later. Do you recall the details?

You may be following the negotiations more closely than me so I am not sure how useful my opinion is. In fact I only just looked it up.
AFAIK there is no bombing now so the terms of the proposed ceasefire are important.
