More packages of cocaine have allegedly been discovered at beaches in Newcastle and the Central Coast, taking the total amount that has appeared on NSW beaches over the past week to 124kg.

The latest discovery came on Tuesday at 5:30pm when a member of the public discovered 39 sealed bricks with each allegedly containing 1 kilogram of cocaine at Newcastle Ocean Baths.

    The spokesperson continued : “The 32 cocaine bricks were transported via a secure delivery vehicle”.

      Police later confirmed that all 28 bricks tested positive for cocaine.
