A proposal to turn the iconic former furniture showroom into a three-storey Moon Dog venue with a grandiose baroque fountain has been rejected by Maribyrnong City Council.

Pelligra had initially expected to develop apartments and office space on the 1000-square-metre site, but last year said it felt Moon Dog’s proposal was a “perfect fit” following Cozzo’s departure.
