Looks fun. Not every problem needs a Rolls Royce solution. Cheap and simple is often the most environmentally friendly too. A basic white board could also do the trick.
I have white boards for more permanent things. I like this for super temporary things because I don’t have to cap/uncap the pen, or pick up a detached eraser to wipe it.
