    I don’t think it means much at all for some vintage and classic cars. For some owners, the attraction is to be as original as they were straight from the factory. So, that’s not going to change, though it gets harder and harder as cars age and parts (and fuel type?) become scarcer.

    For some, they like the car/style from yesteryear, but will mod/hot-rod them to bring more modern performance/capabilities.

    I’ve watched a few youtube videos of electric conversions to classic muscle cars. In some sense, it almost sounds like a crime. You take out the compulsory awesome sounding, gas guzzling V8 that basically defined the genre, and put in a quiet, efficient electric motor. It’s interesting stuff.

    I’m interested in the retrofitting ICE vehicles to EV. Cost wise, it’s not great, and I think might need some more battery/charging/V2G/V2H improvements, but I’m trying to keep an eye on it.
