    It was cheap. Panel doesn’t charge batteries, but can power the unit during sunlight hours.

        Its been up there since February. The test will be what state it is in after a full summer next year.

            It does have historical data, but the vendor provided portal doesn’t have any way to overlay data. Its also averaged out over time, so it loses resolution on old data.

                No idea. It does what I want already. Bought it as I didn’t believe the BOM data for my areas was accurate. My weather station has confirmed this 🙂

                    i have my ecowitt GW1100C to stream data to wunderground. i like the idea of citizen science, in a way this is my contribution :)

                    it is pretty accurate when i compare it with other personal weather stations, it’s kinda cool to know exactly how cold outside.
