Almost every time I look into legislation not passing the greens are involved somehow:

Greens environment spokesperson Sarah Hanson-Young on Sunday said she was blindsided by Labor’s decision to shelve the bill, and she accused the government of capitulating to fossil fuel companies.

    really? blindsided???

However, demands by Greens leader Adam Bandt and environmental groups that the legislation include rules that would force regulators to assess the climate impact of resource projects left the changes in limbo for most of the past year and fuelled resistance from resource groups.

So it sat in limbo for a year and fuelled resistance and they’re surprised it was pulled? were they blindsided because they had blindfolds on and weren’t looking at the polls?

Greens need to change their name to useless grey or something, they’ve let more damage to the environment go through than they’ve done saving it by constantly brickwalling labor

We need the cities to go back to labor and let a proper new left wing party be established, one that knows how to compromise to get positive environmental laws passed and block ones that destroy it
