Spoiler much?
180 degrees*
How has no one corrected this?
Because the linked article states that owls can rotate their heads 270°which is “almost 360°” according to the headline and post title.
When you see videos of owls this confusion becomes more apparent when owls don’t stop rotating their head when they look right behind them. They will often turn their head even further which suggests they can do a 360° turn, when in fact they cap out at 270°.
It’s also noteworthy that there’s situations where a persom could easily see and owl do a full 360 (and more) if the owl has it’s head turned one way and then turns it the other.270 in each direction for a total of 540 and all that.Edit: I just double checked, and it’s 270 degrees total, not each direction.
I feel lied to.
I don’t remember this episode of Beastars, but it looks great.
They had to crop the name of the artist there was no other way to publish it
Thx for putting all the pixels back in that OP took out
Ironically, the assassin would be better without shoes
I’m getting strong Hotline Miami vibes from this comic.

Love Hotline Miami, it’s a bit of a mindfuck, but so much fun.
hoot hoot mother fucker
Owls can only turn their heads 270 degrees so your “360 Degrees Owl” headline doesn’t work. The comic is fine since the owl only turns it head 180 degrees there.
This reminds me of the old Xbox 360 joke that everyone used to always fight about online.
I mean, if they can turn 270 degrees in either direction then I suppose they can cover 360 degrees, just not from resting position.
I really doubt they can go 270 degrees in either direction.
You are wrong but recent research indicates that I may in fact also be wrong 😭😭
Owls may actually be able to turn their heads a full 360 degrees | New Scientist - https://www.newscientist.com/article/2413893-owls-may-actually-be-able-to-turn-their-heads-a-full-360-degrees/
That’s still not 270 in either direction, that would be a total of 540!! That’s seriously exorcist shit
Typical Hotline Miami run.
You’re not a nice person, are you?
superb owl
There’s something so surreal about this. Tigers in suits. Tigers killing by severing heads instead of like a tiger (or human) would do it (I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t work anyway, the body would twist). Anthropomorphic bodies, but not in a furry way. A brutal murder comic to show a little science fact.
He’s not severing heads, just spines.
This feels like secret agent training material in an alternate world
Hootman: Codename 47
Why does the guard start as some sort of mammal and then turn into an owl when it’s attacked?
Object permanence.

The first guard was killed by neck snapping, the second guard was immune
There’s two guards my dude.
Yeah, I also struggle with these things.
