    Hersant claimed he had not performed the salute and, even if he had, the charge was constitutionally invalid as the gesture was a legitimate form of political expression.

    can I claim the same for loading the little shit into a cannon and firing him into the sun?

          Yeah - I don’t know how the auth-right is so tidily fed by what basically amounts to “anarchism, but dumb”, but it’s certainly the case.

          I figure it’s a case of conspiracism over principles, but who knows with these idiots - they just need a couple of paradoxes of tolerance to the face, and maybe they’ll crawl back under their rocks.

              Oh for sure - but vague gestures at imagined hypocrisy are all part of their shtick.

              It’s all irrelevant though - there’s no evidence that’ll sway a conspiracist - your options amount to walking away, appealing to the emotions of a lunatic, or violence. It’s not for me to say which is right.
