Emergency call-takers are resorting to pen and paper when their system crashes, with a backup computer system for Victoria’s troubled triple-zero service now more than two years overdue.

More media lies. There is no way Triple-0 budget extends to sticky notes for calltakers, and definitely not name brand Post-its.

    From what I gather things were stretched thin before covid. Then things got real bad and now everyone is burnt out.
