Ok, now I’m super confused. I didn’t just assume yesterday’s fire was a firebug. I figured it was more likely a cigarette butt flicked from one of the apartments or something.
Anyone who knows the ladder is going to wonder how or why someone would light a fire there. There are always people on the ladder who would witness it. From before sunrise to after sunset, you could never assume you’d be alone there. You’d be caught so quickly, like this dude.
Kings Park in general is a weird spot to do it.
I’ll bet my left shoe he’s driven by excitement over the ‘lights and sirens’. If thats his driver, where better than Kings Park to watch, and see the massive response than in the middle of the city.
In the outer suburbs you might only get a light tanker (not as exciting), if the fire doesnt take off. And its a lot more suspicious the further out you go, if you’re going to hang around to watch all the excitement.
