I feel bad for not making Melbcat’s birthday more special. Her breakfast was late and the same old food. She did get long chest scratches, a birthday song, was prawning on the bed with her back cuddled into my leg and she got belly rubs. The new collar isn’t on yet. I’m letting her run around comfy in her birthday suit. She’s moved to her heated bed now.
I’m just on the computer feeling like crap and playing Minecraft.
This Minecraft world is wild. I had spawned in an expansive swamp with a witches hut nearby. It’s lucky I play on peaceful these days. The first thing I did was tame the cat, put down a wool ‘rug’ for it and put fish, water bottle, grass and pumpkin in item frames in the food area. Because you can’t place bowls… I added a bed, made it sit and put a gate on the hut. There were pumpkins close by but no villages yet. I’ve found three nether portals so far.
I started flattening some mountains by hand and with tnt in a bad mood yesterday but that got tedious. Died carelessly to fall damage a few times by jumping or falling. That’s been updated to hurt you in this mode. I found a single ice and snow block house in midair coming off the side of a mountain and there was a bed inside but no villagers.
Now I’m just compulsively gathering clay wearing a turtle shell helmet for those extra seconds of breath. You can now drown in peaceful too which limits my ability to explore blue holes until I do something about it. I built an arrangement with chests and hoppers that feed fuel and materials directly into the furnace and allow the finished product to fall into a chest below, so I just have to load the top chests and the process is automated.
I’m kind of bored already though. Too lazy to build. Especially another train line. I just want to explore aimlessly but if I do that too much that means being forced further afield for new items once updates come.
