welp, if nobodsy else is going to post this, why not?
today is the winter solstice. sunrise where i am in regional victoria was at 7:32am, and sunset will be at sometime close to 5:10pm. this is the least amount of daylight we have for the entire year.
it’s also negative 2 degrees here and my front lawn is covered with ice. why can’t it rain? clouds are like a blanket keeping the place warm at night, and rainwater is warmer than the air at this time of year …

It might be a federation thing. I made a new user account on aussie.zone because I couldn’t get my first account to link across properly and had some similar issues. I’m finding different accounts on each instance I use is working better for me in general.
