I think you could show images on Reddit comments too. Like specifically gifs, but I think the mods of the sub have to enable it. I don’t think Melbourne had it, but I know a few subs I frequented enabled it. But even then not a lot of people used them.
I don’t think so? Though there was like a sort of… like, Discord has Nitro boosting, where you can boost a server and they’d get benefits (like more emojis, larger upload files, etc). I think some subs had that, a lot of the crypto ones or stock based subs had them, but I don’t think you had to pay to get the benefits of posting gifs as comments. But I could be wrong, because I never really did that, only upvoted them if they were funny/relevant.
Ahh okay I think I remember what you’re talking about now. Yeah, I think it was based off of like users boosting stuff… that sounds really familiar. But yeah now it’s all free.
