A report by Swinburne University of Technology found 10 companies that trialled a four-day work week continued it after a pilot, with four organisations adopting the change permanently.
Way too many people support the idea of 4 longer days and claim that’s what a 4 day work week is. NO.
I could maybe accept 4 days for 90% pay (remembering that for the pay to be at the same hourly rate, it’d be 4 days for 80% pay), but a true 4 day work week has to be 4 days of the same number of daily hours as normal, without the pay cut that would otherwise be associated with that much time cut.
Hear, hear!
