I remember when Twitter, Facebook, and a bunch of other sites allowed crossposting until someone realised they were driving traffic away from their own site and shut it down. I think it was Facebook. I think your number is probably too low. As a test, use noscript to block all the google assets and see how many sites you can still use. Not many.
