I am a little worried that in order to really pull off a “realistic” depiction of civil war or whatever that this looks like it’s trying to go for, you really need to understand dialectical materialism. Gotta understand contradictions in the Base between competing powers, and strains that fuel conflict like resource scarcity, climate change, class struggle etc. Which like, no liberals understand or think about.
