I played a race of Mario kart 8 on pretendo last night and it looks like they’ve done a really good job at replacing the servers, haven’t tried it on a 3DS yet
My son has been hitting Splatoon multiplayer hard for the past month. He will miss it so much.
I think pretendo are planning to be up and running after the shutdown to replace most of the services (including Miiverse). I really miss being able to upload to Super Mario Maker which got taken away a while ago - I’ve never really gotten into Super Mario Maker 2.
Nice! I will have to watch their progress. The wait time for online players is already long. I fear this will be a major issue.
