trk’s song of the day: Juzzie Smith - Jamming.
Juzzie Smith is a one man band… wait wait wait, hear me out!.. who actually has some really catchy tunes. If you watch recordings of him on YouTube he really is a talented bloke, and has a funny old routine going on - like seriously how can you listen to that and not be nodding away with it? There’s a few where he gets people up to join in and he really does a great job of making them sound good when they clearly aren’t in the same league as him… I just love when talented people be humble and support others instead of being main characters.
I bought all his albums on his store just cause you can get the lot for $40 and I don’t mind flicking cash to smaller mobs. Taylor Swift I’ll never spend a cent on, but old mate down in Byron strumming his guitar and puffing away on a harmonica is someone I’m happy to support.
Some other stand outs include Keep Life Simple, Superheroes, and Simple Road. I know Superheroes comes with a cool video clip which you should be able to select in YTM.
Can always do with some more music with harmonicas. Feels like it’s an instrument that never gets used, always pleasantly surprised to hear one.
