I’ve actually done that before accidentally with my accountant. I forgot that I had private numbers automatically blocked on my phone, so when they tried to call me, I never got the ring to answer. A little awkward when I called back asking what’s the deal 😰
We’re not even a private number though! And its a land line, so the chances of it being a scam are a lot lower than random mobiles.
I dunno. I dont even bother leaving messages anymore. I just write in our call log against the customer that I rang on xx day at xx time and there was no answer.
Being tech support for my family can be very frustrating sometimes. 9 times out of 10, I just do an internet search, check first link and follow the instructions. Problem yesterday, I just copied a link I found, sent it to my Mother, and told her to follow the steps. Problem fixed in 5 minutes without me having to do much of anything.
