Where are all the late night joints for those of us like my partner who tend to wind down and eat/drink later then usual? Where can we go for a meal at 10pm or later? Does Sydney have anything like this?
Leafy parks are your best bet.
Turns out there is a Greek place around the corner that’s open late over the weekend and a raft of other joints around the city that cater to such a crowd. Looks like we found out fixes.
City Extra at Circular Quay is open 24 hours, but not sure if it’s any good nowadays…city is generally pretty dead.
Newtown, Redfern, Surry Hills, Chinatown probably a pretty good bet
Surprisingly Newtown/Enmore isn’t so much. Most places are packed by 6-8 and tail off after 9ish, except maybe the bars and hotels.
Anyway, we found a couple list articles that recommend a bunch of places throughout the city. I bet they cost a pretty dime though and are all a bit fancy schmancy.
Yeah, I was thinking later that some places probably only stay open later on Fri or Sat…
