This vibes with the most recent chapo ep, where they observed that everyone seems to think the problems they face in getting their political agenda advanced all come down to messaging. We’re all just advertisers for our political brand, no one knows how to actually do politics.
I wouldn’t say messaging is completely meaningless, certain phrasings resonate more with the targeted populace than others. The problem is thinking of the TPTB as a targeted populace that can be swayed with the right combo of words. Power and money dictate things in their world, not a way with prose.
This is why you don’t stray from classics like “Death to America” and “Death to Israel”.
