I’m pretty sure basically everyone knows the story of Wondabyne, but for anyone who doesn’t, there’s no road access to the station, you can either hike to the ride (about an hour’s trek), or you can catch a boat to the other side of the river.

I was so tempted to extend my stay in Sydney just so I could catch a boat that’s replacing a bus that’s replacing a train, but unfortunately my schedule didn’t allow for any flexibility. I was, surprisingly, not the only person to get off at Wondabyne, because the bloke who got the job of sticking the signs up was sent to do so on the train.
