Well if the government is publicly saying “no, we didn’t say that”, then public servants should safely be able to go ahead and do it. Whatever private communications they got must have been in error.
As a wog myself, I won’t be offended if I’m not forcibly inserted in the Parliament’s acknowledgement; so I invite Mr Weir to discover other ways to make me feel “included” if that’s his wish, and focus the acknowledgement on what the acknowledgement is about.
I don’t use a signature. I type that out every email.
Oh, I hadn’t thought to include it in mine. Good idea. I’m tempted to add a free Palestine too, but I probably shouldn’t stir the pot too much when I’m trying to not draw attention to myself lol
