For anyone headed to the Gold Coast this weekend, don’t plan on stopping at BP Stapylton. They have printed signs up everywhere saying they are closed from 11pm on Sunday (17-09-2023) through to early 2024.
They had no fuel left except diesel when we stopped on Sunday, and the shelves inside were mostly empty. I assume McDonalds and what not will all be closed too?
Can always hit up the Shell on the service road a little further down, though she’s fair basic and well small by comparison.

A little further up from the Shell you get the Metro as well, usually a heavy discount there. This will probably be good for the AMPOL about to open across from Yatala Pies
