Nordic Walking is a great way to get fit, the use of the poles help to build muscles in the upper body and it certainly pushes the heart rate up from just normal walking. So I wondered why it never really took off in Australia - apparently there is a bit of a following in QLD but not much elsewhere? I just started doing it since I found poles that don’t require the strap (which was the only reason why I never got into it any sooner).
