The promise of adventure, attention, muscle and safety is driving consumers towards large vehicles – even as they fuel congestion and outstrip the size of car parks

I disagree, design principles to shepherd the car companies into delivering all the classic traits car owners love in a safer( for everyone), more efficient product.

We don’t need a fight here, or negativity, we need a better product, and let these people have less damaging fun.

    Make good handling a desirable attribute again and it’ll naturally drive an uptake of lower and lighter cars. Things like raising speed limits to suit modern cars/tyres, actually repairing roads properly, and helping boost motorsport rather than actively discouraging the development of tracks would help.

      Watching these lifted dual cabs bob n bounce around on aus dash cam it’s like these guys don’t realise what they’re driving.

      So true about handling. Yeah, thats why i’m not really against this race track in the centre of town over in WA. It centralises it in a way i think motorsport hasn’t been for a while here.
