As an aro/ace I’m faced with the opposite. How can I truly know that something isn’t there. Though these days I’ve mostly accepted that I can be pretty sure after 30 years of existing. And if it turns out another wayat some point, then so be it. The label doesn’t define who I am, who I am defines the label
For me my favorite is the, “Maybe I’m actually gay and in denial?” Which quickly flips to, “Maybe I’m actually straight and in denial?”
Ah the bi-cycle, how I love and hate it. It’s my life though so meh, the party will continue. Lol

Not to mention that for some people their labels change with time
We’re all different and that doesn’t make any of us less valid
“An aggressive commitment to non-commitment” pretty well describes all the bisexuals I know, so you’re in good company at least
