As they damn well should
How fair work could call picket lines bad faith, but not all the stupid shit woolies has pulled is beyond me. I’m on the verge of going down to the damn site myself and making my own fucking picket line
Totally go there Baku, take some photos and share them here.
I think the headline might have changed since you posted. What should they damn well do?
Continue picketing.
I’d join you if it weren’t for the six hour drive. Keep it going.
I’m in another country or I’d join you, mate
I used the page title as it appears on the page but it’s little better than the metatag title.
Just so you know, they’ve changed the entire article, and now the headline is “Strike over as Woolworths workers accept new offer from supermarket giant”
Not sure why they just redid and renamed the entire article as opposed to just making a new one
Thanks. I updated the title of the post as it makes sense to in this case.
Alternatively, use one of the helpful links when creating a post to send it to an archive service, and provide the resulting archive link in the post body.
I’m our resident archivist here, normally I’m pretty on the ball, but since the IA was down a while ago, I’ve never gotten back into the stride of things
!?!?! Aussie.zone says this was posted “12 hours ago”, how did I miss this major development all day?
Oh. -_-
Would it be possible to edit this article to point to the archive.org link, then create a new post for the new news? Not sure if you want to at this point, you’re probably sick of this roundabout. Thankyou for sharing it all.
What do you want me to do exactly?
Yep, WTF! ABC news being gaslighty again.
Looks like archive.org captured the original: https://web.archive.org/web/20241207060622/https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-12-07/woolworths-industrial-action-victoria/104697608
“The actions of these picketers are continuing to have an impact on Victorians being able to access essential grocery items such as nappies, drinks and toilet paper from our supermarkets across the state.”
Omg, I can smell the bullshit from here. Like Victorians have no other locations for “essentials” lol.
I think they’ve just underscored the mentality of the duopoly if they think the state needs them to survive.
