Ok come on now though guys, you have to admit that an attempted political shooting and a school shooting are far different, as the children are innocent.

I would go to their groups and tell them this is the 2nd amendment in action against tyrants but they would ban me instantly.

All the more reason to conduct purges and Nights of the Long Knives by trump should he find his way to power somehow. Every good dictator looks to eliminate threats. From the gestapo rounding up regular people to having competitors declared traitors. They all get eliminated.

Targeting the head of state (or past head of state) is always going to rile people up more.

Not really, in most countries I lived in, there have been more heads of state murdered than one can remember, while something like Sandy Hook would have a national day of remembrance.

Not an American, so this is without prejudice.

Either gun deaths are a fact of life or unacceptable. There is no in-between or grey area. It is hugely frustrating to see these shitstained mavens of policy and law swing wildly between these contradictory extremes. Pick a fucking side.

Man, if only it were the politicians. Much of the public has some excuse for ‘needing’ their firearms. It could be self defense, it could be for fun, it could be to kill cops and government officials when ‘tyranny’ arrives (both sides play this part). Add the NRA to the mix along with a sprinkle of legalized corruption in the form of lobbying and BOOM. Deadlock.

When you are famous you can do more than just grab people by their pussies you know. You can become president and make all kinds of excuses as to why the rules don’t apply to you. Gun issues are only one of hundreds of things that these guys are wildly hypocritical about. If it weren’t so serious it would be humerus as it applies to literally almost anything they talk about. The dumb part is voting for them doesnt get you invited to their privilege. Quite the opposite.

At this point one can argue that these assassination attempts are just the will of the people exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. This is just normal everyday stuff you have to get used to, right Republicans?

Exactly. The Second Amendment was created so people can stop a country takeover.

Milking the air cocks, just like how he’s milking another fake shooting attempt .

Zero ear damage whatsoever from staged attack #1. Sentiment was not swayed. They’re trying to normalize attempts and incite violence by their weirdo whack job base. Elon was all but calling for whataboutism attempts on Joe/Kamala.

From what I’ve read he wasn’t really a Republican exactly, but more of an independent with idiosyncratic beliefs who supported Trump and then became disillusioned with him. I don’t think he ever identified as a Republican, even though he was previously a Trump supporter.

So… basically a republican? That’s how they all describe themselves… they’re all independent thinkers who happen to align with the most popular racist. You know by chance…

Could have been one of them newfangled Libertarians, who align 100% with Republicans, but are independent thinkers because they consume “alt” media instead of Fox News.

They might even be mildly against Trump because they’re such independent thinkers (translation: contrarian), and may vote 3rd party. That way all of the worlds problems are someone else’s fault.
