I think Chiropractors must be different in Australia, or maybe we just use the term to refer to spine focused physical therapists?

Everyone I’ve known has went to a Chiro for spine issues, including myself. Never heard any bad stories, except for some claiming it’s too expensive to go regularly.

I got a lot of value out of seeing a Chiro. Not for the immediate treatment necessarily, but learning techniques to correct posture.

For example, tilt your mirror up in your car, this forces you to remember to sit upright and maintain good posture.

This isn’t to absolve shit chiropractors, but there does seem to be a pretty big gap between Aussie chiro’s and what I read online.

I’ve been to one and it was still the regular head-twisting. Only went because I got fed up with my physio just doing sports massage after the first session (which is another thing that is very likely snake oil).

Aussie chiro is straight quack also, see a good physio for better treatment and proper science based medicine training.
