Caught back on the 13th of Sept out in North Shore, Geelong. Somehow, despite looking out for it for the last 4 years, I’ve managed to never be in the same place at the same time, so it made me very happy!
And funny enough, literally right after the IEV went past, a PacNat grain train (?) came through!
I used to see this regularly on the (then) South Morang line. It wasn’t all painted though. The middle carriage just had regular Metro livery. The locos were standard V-Line livery.
Ahh, there’s more than one. Yep, I’ve seen both those other two, but never this yellow one. I lived right near the train line, you notice these things because they don’t sound the same as they go past.

The one I saw specifically was EV120. However there’s also EV100 and 102.
