I used to rip/rub my clothes - absolutely loved the texture of the hems of a ripped up pair of jeans. It’s socially a little odd to keep a piece of denim in your pocket to fidget with.

But my beard? Always with me. Accessible 24/7. The texture is always changing and interesting. Stroking my beard makes me look like a smart person thinking about things. A+++

I’m just telling you what I’ve learned from research and experience. If you choose to ignore it that’s fine by me. Please look into using a beard oil if you have a beard, or don’t, it’s your beard. You do you.

And I think you’re spreading false science, feel free to ignore me back.

FINE I LOOKED IT UP. Because neither of you were doing it.

Dumblederp is right, there is no research that indicates a lack of oil could cause greying.

Greying is only caused by age, genetics and oxidative stress on DNA caused by free radicals (not a lack of oil).
