We are also making changes to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (ToS). In this revised policy, we provide more detail about the data we collect and why, how we may use it, and how we may share/sell it. For anyone that created a Plex account before March 20, 2025, there is no change. At a later date we will ask for your consent to these additional uses.
Incredibly concerning. I’ve been using Plex for years due to its ease of use but I’ll definitely be spinning up a Jellyfin instance and seeing if I can get the same/similar functionality from it.
Because I know at least one person will comment about how great Jellyfin is; do you know whether there’s a WebOS client for Jellyfin?
I don’t even think I could hold a 30 second conversation with Eminem. I like his music but I feel we’d be like 2 aliens meeting each other. What I do know is that we’d both enjoy the hell out of those M&M’s! Hands down, better choice.
More like the hard *.

So, some sort of Department Of Government Effici— OH GAWD NO! Probably headed by Gina “Pwease don’t post my caricature portrait” Reinheart.
Still one of the most brutal parts of the series imo.
I was a bit disappointed about the delay. At the moment I mainly use Siri for reminders, adding to my shopping list and setting timers but I was excited to see how much more usable it could be with a better context of the device.
I kow wht yo men!
Really wouldn’t want to offend those advertisers!
The funny this is, because of the way language evolves, people start using alternative words to represent censored language and then those words get censored as well. This is leading to a weird cat and mouse internet cockney slang situation.
I swear I was learning about extra X and Y in high school 20 years ago and that studies (at the time) were showing correlation between different traits displayed by effected people. Just that alone shows incredible gender fluidity.
So where we are, 20 years later, you’d think we’d have a better understanding within society but instead somehow it’s literally regressed since then.
Is Papa censored as a joke or what? So many words are getting cancelled by Big Daddy Algo Rithm that I don’t even know what’s real anymore.
Over the years I’ve seen more getting around and Melon has flipped their reputation from “oh, cool a Tesla” to “poor bugger probably didn’t realise they were supporting fascism when they bought it”.
My mother is a career nurse and swears by this and I’m inclined to believe her. I’d love to see if numbers actually back it up or whether it’s sort of confirmation bias.
I spent so long making a reply to Dubyakay and you said just as much in a quarter of the words! Cheers!
This is an issue I see with Lemmy regarding Discord. Many people here seem to think of Discord as a messaging platform only. Which is weird because I don’t know anyone who uses it strictly for text. For example my friend group is probably 60% voice, 30% video/screen sharing & 10% text.
Does Matrix have screen sharing where multiple participants can screen share simultaneously yet? Because that’s the feature all of my friends use.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Discord, but if no one brings up screen sharing when Matrix is mentioned as an alternative then it’ll never be implemented.
If another service such as Matrix can built similar screen sharing into their applications then I’d be able to convince my friends to make the shift. As it stands there isn’t really a 1:1 equivalent.
Core memory unlocked. I think I played this for a very short time back in the 2000’s.
Less “conveniently” and more “I ran out of time to finish the article”. I’m sorry that you seem to be invested in this but I’ll still check out alternatives. Don’t worry, my potential switching shouldn’t hurt Plex’s future IPO (are they public already? Or still to come?)
Have a nice day.
