These people are so funny, and have been around forever. They spend time customizing their filters to only block certain kinds of ads, or not blocking on sites they like. I can’t imagine.

I primarily use linux, including for games. While I think proton is amazing, I think linuxheads paint too cheery a picture. They’ll be like “all my games work and yours will too.”

Like, my dad was the kind of guy who would draw these types of diagrams (like in the op) where he saw false symmetries based on nothing. Then he would see them with a profundity that only he really felt, and anyone he showed them would just kind of humor him. They usually were pretty shallow connections that revealed more about his own biases than the world.

It isn’t quite the same diagraming I’ve seen with people I’ve know with schizophrenia, mainly because it’s way less specific. But it shares a vibe.

I see this stuff a bunch. And just wonder if there’s a jargon for it.
