Use your range to take him out. Even when he’s enraged, he won’t go on the traps, so stay where you are and use your wands/throwables. You will end up taking damage from 2 traps, but it’s no big deal, you got the hp for it.

In 4 hours is wild
Rapist??? I thought he was just with a hooker? (Not that even that is ok)
Oddly enough the opposite is true with Kamala. She was saying some wild shit 4+ years ago or just aimlessly rambling. Idk if she just got good scriptwriters since then or what, but it’s a lot better now.
Thorns isn’t a viable strat since you have a very low chance of actually getting it. This strat can work with huntress since the bow upgrades automatically, but upgrading your armor past 7+ is generally a waste. The fact that you have all those health pots left over is kinda evidence of that.
Then do you feel that Biden was too old?
As a long time player, I agree it is a very big difference, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s worse. There is more information automatically recorded that is very relevant when ascending/back tracking, and doing this would have been very awkward with the old format. I don’t think players should have to open the notes 25 times a playthrough just to record floor modifiers. While you could suggest a way to improve the current system, I feel that simply reverting to the old system isn’t the answer.
I feel there should be some form of hint to the rat king giving the crown an extra ability, perhaps this could be implemented somewhere here?
The problem is pharmicaphobia(ignore spelling) and barren land invalidate those options.
Super excited for the new additions/changes, keep up the great work!
Best strategy with dwarf king is to utilize burst DPS like fire, bleeding, and bombs to kill phase 1 before he can pump out too many summons. Phase 2 requires you to assassinate monks/warlocks since they are the biggest threats, and you can use your earth wand to help tank the rest. Phase 3 is a breeze if you have a potion of purity and toxic/corrosive gas, and a fire pot/paralytic gas pot helps. Just drink the purity, throw the gasses, and stealth for 20 turns while you watch the king melt. Don’t attack to keep the invis, the boss will die from the damage over time and his summons automatically die after he does. A scroll of artifact recharging is helpful for the fight, but with your current hp you will have to rely on some crazy RNG.
The distinct advantage huntress has is the bow, which let’s you whittle down the hp of enemies before you go into hand to hand combat. It is also important to note that your bow can be enchanted, which it is a good idea to do as soon as you find a stone of enchantment, since you use the bow the entire run.
Yeah I was just messing with you man, although now I want to try it.
Yeah when playing 9-chal you almost rely on unblessed ankhs for that very reason.
Not having the gloves equipped the entire run is kinda cheese ngl.
Monk subclass has an ability which gives you a ton more energy for using low tier equipment, and even gives you some t1 equip for free when maxed. I haven’t ever used that, but it would be perfect for this.
The risk with just throwing armor on to identify it is it may be cursed. Only do that if you have a scroll of remove curse, otherwise you could get stuck with uber heavy armor on and lose the run.
When crippled and free running you run as fast as they do. To run any faster, you want to have that ring of haste. When enemies move as fast as you, you can do a half circle around a 1 block obstacle (like grass) and they will lose track of you. Glyph of flow or haste also help, as will ethereal chains or timekeepers hourglass. Or just stealth, which gives you the bonus move speed even if not free running, just level the appropriate ability. Plus, free running stacks with haste or stamina potions, so use that to your advantage.
I do feel that with the new journal overhaul there should be a line in the description of every undead enemy “This enemy is undead”, just for the sake of providing clarity. Flying enemies are pretty obvious to identify, but undead is a bit more obscure.
