Former PresidentĀ Donald Trumpās youngest son, Barron Trump, has declined to serve as a delegate at this summerāsĀ Republican National Convention, according to a senior Trump campaign adviser and a statement from Melania Trumpās office.
āWhile Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines due to prior commitments,ā the statement from the former first ladyās office said.
Barron Trump, who turned 18 in March,Ā had been selectedĀ by the Florida GOP to serve as an at-large delegate at the July convention. Several other Trump family members ā includingĀ Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump ā were also selected as delegates.
Iām pretty sure it was Melania who noped him out of that. It wouldnāt surprise me if Trump didnāt bother actually asking the kid if he wanted to do it before trying to shove him up on stage.
Iād imagine the idea of using the child she was carrying when he cheated on her with a porn star in the middle of his criminal trial for paying her hush money as a political pawn didnāt sit right with Mels.
Nah, I bet she didnāt give one flying fuck about that (until it became public and made Trump look bad [well, worse]). Thereās no way Melania didnāt have ulterior motives for marrying Trump- it wasnāt love, it was money/power/promises/Russian handlers that created that relationship. Reportedly one of her bodyguards is her own side piece.
This was Trumpty-Dumpty doing one of his āpower moves from the 80sā- claiming that Barron was going to be a delegate, forcing the RNC to either accept it or risk losing face/the wrath of the MAGAts. Itās not the first time heās done that before.
