No, the main argument is “why shouldn’t they have to repay loans that they took out? Why should their loans just be erased?”
No one seems to have a good answer other than “because it will help them”. That’s not a good enough answer. Why not just forgive all mortgages too then? They’re an even bigger financial burden. Why not car loans?
