I just sort of assume everyone has watched the episode by now. If you haven’t, I recommend doing so before you get to the end of this article.

    Spoilers ahead.

I think The Sign was a rare miss from the Bluey team. The episode was good with plenty of fun and funny moments. However, for a show that’s usually so great at helping kids understand and deal with difficult situations, what’s the lesson in this episode? If you get really sad and wish for a different outcome, it’ll just happen?

The point of the farmer story would have really been driven home if they had to move away, but then ended up truly thriving in their new city.

The moments of the episode really delivered, but i do agree there should’ve been a way to deal with moving as an event without the deus ex machina at the end undermining the whole plot.

The scene at daycare foreshadowed the ending though when Bluey says she’ll never see any of them again, obviously they’re not going to throw away all the wonderful side characters they’ve built just to have them move to a new city.
